Our first team of volunteers has arrived and we are now knee deep in getting them ready to teach next week. We picked them up at 1am Friday morning. We slept for a few hours then hit it hard Friday. We have a full day again today.
Remember my colleagues and I as we get them oriented and acclimated to this new place. Remember the students as they prepare to teach classes. They will all be teaching at colleges here in the city. It will be a great chance for us to build new relationships and sow the seed broadly.
Last night some of our team and the volunteers met before the throne together. We talked about a chapter of Matt. The story of the sower is their goal. The story warns us some will listen and some won’t. Some will respond and join the family, others will drift away. But the farmer did nothing wrong. He threw the seed everywhere he could. Let’s ask for some good soil!
I go back to the airport Tuesday at 1am to get two more. Remember their travel.
